Product Description

A charming pair of Coalport trios, consisting of two teacups, two saucers and two tea plates. Manufactured in circa 1891 by Coalport Porcelain Works (John Rose & Co), Coalport, Shropshire, England.  The pair of trios are made of crisp white porcelain, decorated with detailed moulded designs of swags and flowers around the body of the teacups and around the rims of the saucers and tea plates.  All the pieces are decorated with pretty hand painted floral motifs which extend to the centre of each teacup.  The rims are gently scalloped adding to the floral feel and look.

Condition: In very good condition.  No crazing, cracks or chips. A few firing spots which are commensurate with age. (Click on About Our China for more details on condition).

Back stamp shows the crown trade mark in green – Coalport – England – AD1750
