Product Description

A striking hand painted Diamond China antique sugar bowl and creamer set.  Manufactured by Blyth Porcelain Co Ltd, Blyth Works, High Street, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England, (formerly Dresden Porcelain Co). The sugar bowl and creamer set dates to circa. 1913 and is decorated with a typical Japanese Imari pattern, in the typical colours.  A crisp white background decorated  with bold cobalt blue panels with inserts of  small gilded geometrical shapes, each frame depicting very organic shapes, with touches of deep red central patterns.

Sugar bowl height 6.5cm x diameter 12cm
Creamer height 10cm x diameter 11.5cm from tip of spout to far end of the handle (approx.)

Pattern No. 5341

Condition: Both pieces are in very good condition. The gilding is very bright and intact.  There are a few tiny firing spots  which are normal characteristics and are  commensurate with china produced 100 years ago.                       (Click on About Our China for more details on condition).

There are no  back stamp on these two pieces, however the matching available teacups do show the Diamond China mark.
There is a also a matching  cake plate, which  sold separately and would complete the set
