A stunning late 19th century teacup and saucer duo, manufactured by the famous Ridgeway Pottery, Staffordshire, England. (Ridgeway Pottery became part of the Royal Doulton group in the 1960’s). The duo is decorated with a soft peach background with crisp white panels encompassing small floral motifs. The overall design is beautifully enhanced by Rococo styled gilding, creating an opulent look. The rim of both teacup and saucer are gently scalloped and gilded, with further gilded swirl patterns extending to the looped handle and pedestal foot.
