Product Description
An elegant English fine bone china teacup and saucer duo. Manufactured in circa 1960s, by Duchess China, Uttoxeter Road, Longton, England (a subsidiary of Grimswade Ltd) . The duo is designed in the pattern called ‘Chatsworth’, with pretty blooming Morning Glory and pink floral vines on a crisp white background. The rims of both teacup and the saucer are gently scalloped with a gilded finish. The shape of the teacup is Gainsborough and sits on a small pedestal foot. The handle is looped with a prominent thumb rest and gilded on both sides.
