Product Description
A truly delightful vintage English bone china tea set, consisting of six Pembroke shaped teacups and six saucers decorated in the Pompadour pattern. Manufactured in 1953, by E. Brain & Co Ltd, Foley China Works, Fenton Staffordshire Potteries (previously Coalport China which was taken over in 1953). The teacups have a generous wide brim with gilded scalloped rims and an elegant elongated ring handle. The set is decorated with sprays of charming pink roses, forget-me-nots and violets on a crisp white background. The pattern extends to the inner side of the teacups and a small central motif in the base. The saucers rims are gently scalloped and gilded creating an overall romantic look.
