A pair of antique Herculaneum teacup and saucer duos circa 1820 – 1825, Liverpool. (Herculeum was based in Toxteth, Liverpool between 1793 – 1841). The teacups are London shape with a pedestal foot and square rest shape handles. The saucers have a nice deep centre. The china is a crisp white and has been decorated with bands of hand painted gilded laurel leaves with pretty red painted details.

Condition: In very good antique condition. The gilding is intact except for some rubbing of the central band of one of the saucers. A few firing spots which are commensurate with old china (Click on About Our China for more details on condition).
