A rare and much sought after antique Wileman demitasse tea set, coloured in white and designed in a sea shell shape. The set consists of four teacups and four saucers. Manufactured by Wileman, one of the most respected manufacturers of fine bone china in the late 19th Century, at Foley China Works, Fenton, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries in England and dates to circa 1891. The shell shape is indeed unique, the surface body has a lustrous look and to the touch feels like a sea shell. Beautifully light weight and an absolute delight to hold.

Registration No. 150035 (Printed in grey on the teacups and the same number is impressed on the saucers).
CONDITION: This is a rare antique set over 100 years and is in perfect white condition except for some minor staining inside one of the cups. (See picture) (Click on About Our China for more details on condition).
Backstamp – As these pieces are so small, there is no backstamp. (Registration No is shown)
This fine and rare set would make an interesting addition to an antique bone china collection and particularly for Wileman fans.
