A stylish handpainted Art Deco teacup, saucer and tea plate trio. Manufactured in 1937 by Reid & Co Park Place Works, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England. Lovely buttercup milk background decorated with handpainted unique gold leaf and basket motif designs in gold gilding. A nice sized footed teacup which has a gently scalloped rim and an elegant looped handle. The tea plate is of square shape which is of a typical Art Deco style. If you love the Art Deco period, you will love this teacup trio.
