A pretty elegant Victorian twelve piece tea set,(six teacups and six saucers), dating to circa 1910. The tea set is decorated with the most prettiest printed tiny pink roses and bright green leaves in a garland pattern, which encircles the outer rims of the tea cup and saucer , contrasting well against the crisp white background. The rose motifs are gently placed inside the teacup and a raised scalloped design is felt when one runs their finger around the upper, outer body of the teacup and saucer. The teacup is elegant and light with a nice gilded wide brim and gilded broken loop handle. The teacup sits so well on an unusual scalloped footed base. The gilded rim of the saucers are gently scalloped, enhancing the overall floral design.
