Antique Shelley Two Tiered Cake Stand

A rare opportunity to own an exquisite one of a kind mini cake stand.  The two tiers consist of a top plate  decorated with pastel coloured English garden flowers.  The bottom plate is a collectable antique Shelley plate and has been skillfully hand painted.  The centre of the plate  is a bright pink with its rim decorated with little turquoise coloured raised enameled jeweled dots, each placed in the centre of a gold motif which are separated with pretty blooming peonies.  The rim has a scallop design and is decorated with a tiny gold balcony pattern.

DIMENSIONS:  Top Plate diameter 14cm - Coalport - Vintage (1960) Bottom Plate diameter 17.5cm - Late Foley Shelley  (1911 - 1920)

CONDITION: The bottom Shelley plate has considerable wear and the colour has rubbed off in many places.  The enameled jewels are intact.  There is some visible wear to the gilding on the rim.   New gold central fitting.
