Edwardian Hand Painted Teacup, Saucer and Tea Plate Trio
A very stylish Edwardian English bone china teacup, saucer and tea plate trio, manufactured circa 1910 in England. The trio is decorated with stylised hand painted balcony designs in 22kt gold and raised cobalt blue dot patterns. The rims are solid and smooth in gold creating the perfect finish. There are further bands of cobalt blue and gold lines encircling the rims which contrast well against the crisp white background. The teacup handle is decorated with a pretty gold leaf design. A very elegant trio.
DIMENSIONS: Teacup height 7cm x diameter 7.5cm - Saucer diameter 14cm - Tea plate diameter 15cm. Pattern No. 932
Condition: In excellent unused condition. The gilding is intact except for a tiny rub spot on the central gold circles of both saucer and tea plate. There is a spot of stray blue paint on the inner side of the teacup. and side of teacup handle. These are normal characteristics and commensurate with older pieces, especially antiques. There are no makers marks.
