Royal Warrant By Her Majesty The Queen Paragon Teacup and Saucer Duo

A stunning Rockingham  vintage teacup and saucer duo.   Manufactured circa 1956 by Paragon China (Ltd), Atlas Works, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England.  The duo  is decorated with a beautiful central Bird of Paradise motif amidst blooming pink roses, forget-me-knots and florals.  Deep red panels with swirl and swag pattern borders decorate the inner side of the teacup and the edge of the saucer.  An elegant pedestal teacup with a gilded looped handle.  The rims of both teacup and saucer are gently scalloped and trimmed with adequate gilding.

Dimensions: Teacup height 6cm x diameter 9cm - Saucer diameter 14cm

Conditions:  In excellent condition. Colours and patterns are bright with intact gilding. A couple of tiny firing spots in the base of the teacup which are hardly noticeable.  All these characteristics are commensurate with age.
