Vintage Sadler Tea Pot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug Set

This is a lovely vintage Sadder set comprising of  a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer.  Manufactured in circa 1937 by James Sadler & Sons (Ltd), Wellington and Central Potteries, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries, England.  The sides of the barrel shaped teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug are decorated with charming romantic scenes of a fine courting couple amidst garden settings which extend to the creamer and sugar bowl.  The scene on the teapot is framed by a raised pretty swirl pattern with gold flowers and leaves covering the remaining body.  The handles are gently looped and the rims are beautifully scalloped adding a touch of elegance.

CONDITION: In good vintage condition, some normal wear to the gilding and signs of crazing.  All these characteristics are commensurate with older pieces. Missing lid to sugar bowl. Backstamp shows raised Sadler name - England
