Vintage Wellington China Trio

A hand painted teacup, sauce and tea plate trio, manufactured circa 1930, by J.H.Cope & Co, under the name Wellington China, Wellington Works, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England. The trio is decorated with stylised hand enameled embellished flowers with gold leaves and temple motifs.  The rims of both teacup and saucer are solid and are gilded. The tea plate is a square shape which is very typical of Art Deco style, it has fluted gilded four corners. The teacup is a nice 'bute' shape with an elegant looped handle.

Condition: In very good condition throughout.  Nice bright colours and gilding intact.  A few cutlery marks on the tea plate, these are really not noticeable.
